Masan Consumer Joint Stock Company (Masan Consumer; stock code: MCH, UPCoM) has just announced the final registration date for the cash dividend advance for 2024.

Accordingly, Masan Consumer will pay a dividend advance for 2024 to shareholders at a rate of 95% per share, meaning each share will receive 9,500 VND. The final registration date to exercise this right is December 20, 2024, with the payment date expected on December 30, 2024.

With over 724.6 million MCH shares currently circulating in the market, it is estimated that Masan Consumer will need to allocate nearly 6,884.1 billion VND for this dividend payment.

Of which, nearly 6,377.4 billion VND will flow into the parent company Masan Consumer Holdings, which owns over 671.3 million MCH shares.

Previously, Masan Consumer paid approximately 19 trillion VND in cash dividends for 2023 to shareholders, with a payout ratio of up to 268%.

Masan Consumer’s main business activities include trading in food products, non-alcoholic beverages and mineral water, as well as household and personal care products.
Regarding business performance, according to the consolidated financial report for Q3 2024, Masan Consumer recorded net revenue of nearly 7,987 billion VND, an increase of 10.42% compared to the same period in 2023; net financial income of nearly 381.8 billion VND, up 16%; and net profit from production and business activities before corporate income tax reached over 1,981.1 billion VND, up 14%.

After deducting taxes and fees, the company reported a net profit of over 2,094.4 billion VND, an increase of 13.82%.

According to Masan Consumer’s explanation, the increase in after-tax profit is the result of growth in net profit from production and business activities before corporate income tax and net financial income.

For the first nine months of 2024, Masan Consumer achieved net revenue of over 21,954.9 billion VND, an increase of 11.18% compared to the same period in 2023; after-tax profit reached nearly 5,552.7 billion VND, up 13.6%.

As of September 30, 2024, Masan Consumer’s total assets stood at over 45,751.1 billion VND, an increase of 12.82% compared to the beginning of the year; liabilities reached nearly 29,906.5 billion VND, up 110.95%.
